The Play Doh doesn't really harden. It does provide a fun play time for the kids but it is a very expensive one as you keep having to buy new tubes of play doh. Probably suitable for much older children who want to do an Arts and Craft project.
The Doh Vinci play dough is smoother and softer than the usual Play-Doh I feel and goes through the Styler tool easily. It looks pretty simple to use but practice is definitely needed, even for adults, before you get used to the pressure and angle needed to squeeze the Doh Vinci out, and to shape it correctly.
